HomePlaceLoans.com will once again be the Title Sponsor for the Angels for Autism Golf Benefit 2007 taking place on Monday, November 5th at the Arrowhead Country Club in Glendale Arizona. All proceeds for the event benefit the Autism Society of America Greater Phoenix Chapter (ASA-GPC), a membership organization of many families throughout Arizona who are committed to improving the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorders and to providing support to families through needed services. Some of their goals translate into the following:

Autism is a Lifelong Disorder, but it is Treatable

Autism is a brain disorder that affects a person's ability to communicate, to reason and to interact with others. Many individuals with autism have unusual sensitivities to sound, sight, touch, taste and smell. It's a spectrum disorder that affects individuals differently and to varying degrees. It often co-exists with other disabilities.

The rate of autism is skyrocketing. Only ten years ago, autism was diagnosed in 1 out of 10,000 children in America - today an astounding 1 in 150 children are diagnosed with autism. It is also four times more common in boys than girls and is found equally in all walks of life and in all populations around the world.

About the Event 

Registration begins at 10am with a shotgun start slated for 11am. An awards dinner and silent auction/raffle will follow immediately following play.
